The opportunity
A partnership that moves forward with MCF
As MCF begins a new chapter at Singidunum University, we are proud that Ominimo has chosen to continue supporting the program and its students.
The Ominimo Excellence Scholarship reflects a shared belief between MCF and Ominimo: that exceptional people, regardless of their original academic or professional background, should have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed to work at the intersection of finance, data and artificial intelligence.
The Ominimo Excellence Scholarship is a full-tuition grant awarded to one incoming student of the Master in Computational Finance for the academic year 2026/27. The scholarship is awarded as a pure grant - it carries no employment obligation for the recipient. You are free to pursue your own path. No strings attached.
About Ominimo
Technology, data and insurance.
Ominimo is one of Europe's fastest-growing insurtech companies, built at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science and insurance.
Founded just two years ago, the company has grown to nearly one million customers across four European markets. In 2026, Ominimo closed its Series B funding round at a $1.6 billion valuation, reaching unicorn status and becoming widely recognized as Serbia's first unicorn. The round was led by the investment arm of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), while Zurich Insurance Group remains a strategic partner.
At the heart of Ominimo's business is the use of advanced mathematics, artificial intelligence and data science to rethink how insurance risk is understood, priced and managed - precisely the kind of intersection of technology, data and finance that lies at the core of MCF.
The candidate
Who are we looking for?

02
Intellectual curiosity
Genuine fascination with the intersection of mathematics, finance, and technology.
03
Real-world drive
